Well I don't know if I love these homemade
granola bars yet but I'm pretty sure I will. I'm just waiting for it to get below 90 degrees outside before I turn on my oven, no AC after all.
Homemade rosemary hummus with veggies (perfect on a roasting hot day), on a little snack plate I picked up at a yard sale last summer. Would you like the recipe? Here it is...
Rosemary Hummus
1 16 oz can of chickpeas
1/4 C. liquid from can of chickpeas
3-5 T. lemon juice (depending on taste)
1 1/2 T. tahini
3 garlic cloves
1/2 t. salt
2T. olive oil
1 T. fresh rosemary
Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Blend until thoroughly mixed and smooth. Cover and refrigerate whatever you don't gobble up immediately. Serve with veggies and pita bread.
