It's time for another sporadic Things I Love Thursdays
These super cute Harajuku Lovers wedges.
Clear glass jars that I will soon be turning into craft projects (thanks for the idea mom!)
These delicious double caramel magnum bars. I did not look at the nutritional information, I was too scared.
Vintage decals waiting to be used.
Well I don't know if I love these homemade granola bars yet but I'm pretty sure I will. I'm just waiting for it to get below 90 degrees outside before I turn on my oven, no AC after all.
Homemade rosemary hummus with veggies (perfect on a roasting hot day), on a little snack plate I picked up at a yard sale last summer. Would you like the recipe? Here it is...
Rosemary Hummus
1 16 oz can of chickpeas
1/4 C. liquid from can of chickpeas
3-5 T. lemon juice (depending on taste)
1 1/2 T. tahini
3 garlic cloves
1/2 t. salt
2T. olive oil
1 T. fresh rosemary
Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Blend until thoroughly mixed and smooth. Cover and refrigerate whatever you don't gobble up immediately. Serve with veggies and pita bread.
I see you got those magnum bars. I should try that hummus recipe. Judah really loves hummus. He was eating it the other night with a spoon like it was ice cream!
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed I did get them. They were on sale at the store and I had a coupon. I can't figure out why the box comes with only three though, that seems like a weird number. The hummus is so yummy, Judah will like it I'm sure. You can leave out the rosemary so it's plain but if you're feeling adventurous you can add a jalapeno (yummy!) or roasted red peppers.
ReplyDeleteI have been seeing commercials for the magnum bars recently, and it makes me excited because we used to eat them all the time in Ecuador! I don't think they had caramel ones there though.
