Blasted Blizzard
I just survived my first blizzard, the Baltimore area received a record snowfall of 30 inches! Whoa, that is wayyyyyy too much snow. I spent my day off shoveling the snow only to turn around and see that the freshly shoveled walk was once again covered in snow. Oh, how irritating. I then decided to go inside and spend some time crafting Valentines but that didn't last long since I was experiencing throbbing pain in my neck and back from shoveling all of that snow. I had to retire to my bed to rest but I was sure to take pictures of my crafting supplies. As you can see I am a big fan of Martha Stewart crafts. My sister gave me this Martha Stewart flocking kit for Christmas, and I'm going to try it out on my little Valentines.

ReplyDeleteNow you know how the rest of us feel for most of the winter! Actually, the weather in Chicago has been pretty mild as far as snow goes, but when I was at home for break we got over 3 feet in 2 days. Glad you can still feel crafty despite the weather! And I miss you. :)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds horrible Kira, I take pity on you! Does it always snow like that in Chicago? Ir is snowing again today, we are supposed to get between 10-20 more inches. I guess it just means more time for crafts.
ReplyDeleteWe actually just got a foot of snow here in Chicago, but for the last few weeks it's been very dry. At home we get several feet of snow fairly often, because we get lake effect snow from Lake Erie. We don't get too much of that in Chicago because we're east of Lake Michigan and the wind usually blows it away from us. Hope you're enjoying your craftiness! Oh, and I heard some exciting news about you a few weeks ago...congratulations! :)
